Four years ago on this day, I met Meg for the first time. We were instant friends and I have been so lucky to have a friend that embraces ridiculosity with the same passion that I do. I have met my match in Meg and she has proven time and again what a special person she is. Shoot, I popped out of a box for this girl last year!
So as we both close chapters in our lives and move on to new adventures, I take great comfort in knowing that Meg and I have a friendship that is going to carry us into our old age when we sit on hover rockers and reminisce on our younger years when we had all our teeth and our biggest worry was what the next kickball t-shirt design would be. Love you Megly. Happy 4th.

Townie Love
Townie Crew: my posse of friends in Chapel Hill-- we even have a listserv (courtesy of UNC) so that we can have a witty banter throughout the workweek until we can make it to the freedom of Friday. Surprisingly, I wasn't friends with any of these wonderful people in undergrad. A travesty!

Townie girls night- West End followed by Crook's Corner for an impressive display of partially committed vegetarianism in the form of NC Eastern style BBQ.

I became the second half of Meg & Bex on June 20, 2008 and we just celebrated our 2nd friendiversary that marked the momentous day of our friendship. It was an inevitable meeting of two fabulous Carolina girls and once we hung out for about 10 minutes, we both were baffled that we had missed out on years of ridiculosity.

Below: Our buddy Alex made a bet with GKbTE! founders that he would carry his championship medal with him everywhere and must present it to us when we saw him again. Obvi, we lost. This was the catalyst to our belated friendiversary celebration.
